Introduction to Competency Based Learning


Description

This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of competency-based education by focusing on the "16 Quality Principles" (Sturgis & Casey, 2018). Designed for educators and school leaders, this course of 9 Lessons equips participants with tools to develop competency-based practices in their schools by fostering a shared vision and creating a sense of urgency around a principle of their choice.


The course is designed as follows:

15 synchronous hours

10 asynchronous hours

20 Job-embedded hours

45 Total Hours
